Guidelines And Terms & Conditions For Abstract Submission :
- All abstracts must be submitted by 30 June 2025 through the APRC4 2025 Abstract Submission Portal.
- Only registered delegates are able to submit an abstract. Click here to register.
- Abstracts must be submitted in English.
- Words and attachment limitation:
- Abstract Title–maximum of 30 words in Sentence Case.
- Abstract Content–maximum of 300 words. (Exclude Citations & References)
- Submissions should be thoroughly checked for spelling and grammar before submission as they will be reproduced as submitted by the author.
- Changes will not be entertained after the abstract submission has closed.
- Submitters are advised to seek assistance to proofread the abstract if English is not their first language.
- It is the sole responsibility of the authors to ensure accuracy of scientific content and language.
- The abstract should not contain any graphics or references.
- Please contact the conference secretariat via contact@aprc4.com if there is any issue or question in submitting abstract.
Mode of Presentation & Presentation Guidelines:
Abstract submitters may select their preferred method of presentation upon abstract submission. However, the final decision lies with the Scientific Committee. All abstracts will be reviewed and notified. All accepted abstracts are required to complete their registration and payment before 15 August 2025, if not their abstract will be WITHDRAWN.
Oral Presentation Guideline:
- Oral Presentation slot – 10 minutes (8 minutes of presentation and 2 minutes of Q & A)
- Slide Format: 16:9 powerpoint slide (pptx file), other formats such as Keynote and Canva are not compatible.
- Slide Layout: Landscape (1920 x 1080px)
- Font type: Avoid using special fonts or characters that are not included in the standard PowerPoint package, as this may lead to issues during file upload.
- The presentation must be presented in a clear and concise English language.
- You are advised to adhere strictly to the time allocated to avoid upsetting the scientific programme.
- You may use the presentation template below to design your slides.
- Any abbreviations should be defined where first mentioned.
- Please note in order to present your abstract, kindly register and fully paid before 15 August 2025.
Poster Display Guideline:
- NO presentation slot will be allocated for poster display.
- Poster Format: A0 Size Poster (PDF file)
- Poster Layout: Portrait (841 mm x 1189 mm)
- Posters should be designed, such that titles, legends, graphs and illustrations can be easily read.
- Kindly produce and affix a recent headshot (passport sized) of the Author/s at the top right-hand corner of the poster.
- Use a minimum font size of 16 points (Approved fonts include: Arial, and Open Sans.)
- Provide clear labels or headings for each section of your presentation.
- Remember contrast. Put light-coloured fonts on dark backgrounds and dark-coloured fonts on light backgrounds so viewers can see your text.
- Embed high-quality graphics.
- Avoid hyperlinks. Instead, incorporate a QR code into your presentation that will direct attendees to a website that contains more information about your poster and research.

MSPTM Student Competition - Rapid Oral Presentation:
- This competition is open to all abstracts accepted under Rapid Oral Presentation.
- Rapid Oral Presentation slot – 3 minutes (2 minutes presentation and 1 minute Q & A)
- Slide Format: 16:9 powerpoint slide (ppt or pptx file), other formats such as Keynote and Canva are not compatible.
- Slide Layout: Landscape (1920 x 1080px)
- Presenters are only allow to prepare ONE slide for the presentation only.
- The presentation must be presented in a clear and concise English language.
- You may use the presentation template below to design your slide.
- You are advised to adhere strictly to the time allocated to avoid upsetting the scientific programme.
- Any abbreviations should be defined where first mentioned.
- Please note in order to present your abstract, kindly register and fully paid before 15 August 2025.
- Participants will be judged based on three main criteria:-
- Content - This includes the originality/idea of the study, the quality of the methodology involved, and the effective organisation of key points and the take-home message.
- Presentation Skills - verbal and non-verbal communication skills as well as the creativity of the presentation.
- Q&A - the ability of the participants to address questions clearly and demonstrate critical thinking in handling questions effectively.
MSPTM Student Competition - Poster Presentation:
- The competition is open to all students attending the congress.
- Presenters will be allotted 3 minutes for their poster presentation, followed by a question and answer session with the judges. Judges will visit each poster individually, and there is no fixed schedule for their visits. Therefore, presenters must be prepared to deliver their presentation to each judge as they arrive.
- Presenters are required to submit a physical poster on the event day upon registration.
- The size of the poster must be in A0: 84.10cm (W) x 118.90cm (H) (Portrait Orientation).
- The poster may include printed materials, tables, graphs, photographs, or illustrations. All the materials should be of sufficient size so they can be easily read at a reasonable distance of 1 to 1.5 meters by the readers.
- Presenters are suggested to use the Abstract Poster Template, which are available on the website, under the Programme tab.
- Presenter must present onsite during the congress.
- Participants will be judged based on the following criteria:-
- Abstract
- Poster Content
- Research Complexity Appropriate to Discipline
- Poster Appearance / Clarity
- Poster Organization
- Presentation
- Ability to Respond to Questions
Consent, Permission & Copyright :
Submitters must conform to the following:
- To accept responsibility for the accuracy of the submitted abstract and understand that amendment is not allowed once it is submitted, and information provided will be published exactly as submitted.
- All co-authors are aware of and give consent to the content of the abstract and data presented before it is submitted. The submitter accepts responsibility as the contact person for all correspondence about the abstract and to share information with all authors about its status.
- Submission of abstracts implies the author’s agreement to publish the abstract in all congress publications including the website, i.e., submitters are responsible to secure any copyright/permissions clearance required relating to any previous presentations, equipment, or other material for inclusion in the APRC4 2025 publications.
- Submitters are responsible to obtain permission from any relevant regulatory authority and obtain consent where appropriate.
- Submitters are responsible to ensure the work is original and that it does not infringe upon any copyright, proprietary or personal right of party.
- Submitters are responsible to identify and sort out any potential conflicts of interest e.g., financial interest in products or processes described in the presentation materials, stock ownership, and membership on an advisory board or board of directors or other substantive relationships.
- Submission of the online Registration and Abstract Submission form indicates the submitter has agreed to all the terms & conditions with regards to the congress registrations and abstract submissions as listed on the congress website (www.aprc4.com).
